Torres Faces Two Months Out

A young Torres in the good old days before incessant groin problems

Liverpool's star striker Fernando Torres faces 2 months out as he could be in line for a hernia option if the situation with his problematic groin does not improve.

While Torres will travel to France with the rest of his teammates to face off against Lyon in a crucial Champions League clash on Wednesday, Rafa Benitez has confirmed that surgery is a very realistic possibility.

Torres leads the Premier League in scoring thus far this year - netting a superb 10 goals in 10 league games.

If he's forced to go ahead with the operation, Liverpool's season is surely over.

Andriy Voronin, Ryan Babel and David N'Gog don't exactly strike fear into anyone's hearts, except for the paying customers occupying row Zed.
