Butt Buddies
Chelsea's captain Frank Lampard picked up a thigh injury while training today and will be out of England's friendly with Brazil this weekend.
Lampard has been a hot topic for us this season - he started off incredibly slow, but then finally scored from open play a few weeks ago and has been on fire ever since. Fantasy Premier League managers who remained patient with the England star have been rewarded, as he has put up 3 goals and 3 assists in his last 4 games. He's still not picking up 3 FPL bonus points on a regular basis (only 10 BPs this year compared to teammates Drogba and Essien with 11 and 13 respectively) but he's certainly found a bit of form over the past month.
Arsenal just put 4 past Wolves and Chelsea take on Wolves (at home) after the international break. This game has 3-5 goals written all over it for the Blues. Hopefully for Lampard owners, his thigh will be healed and he'll continue his hot form...

I have read all over the place that Lampard is out for 3 weeks.
First reports coming in 2 days ago and yesterday were all over the place... Some ranged from "He will feature against Wolves" to he will be out for 8-10 weeks and not back until after Xmas...
All of these reports came in as speculation before he was even back in England from the Middle East.
Now he is back at the club's training ground in Cobham, and you are right, the medical staff believes he will be out 2-3 weeks.
He will miss the Wolves game certainly but should be back for Gameweek 14 or 15.
In his 2 game (minimum 1 game, maximum 3 game) absence, I expect Deco / Ballack / Joe Cole to see increased playing time with Ballack taking over penalty kick duties should Chelsea receive one in this time frame.
Ballack has never missed for Germany, in my memory.
