Buy a few more physios Roman, it looks like Chelsea are headed for yet another injury crisis. Deco (thigh) & Carvalho (knee) have been missing for a month, Joe Cole (gashed head (old) and ankle problem (new)) and Didier Drogba (knee) are short of fitness, and word coming out of the England camp suggests that John Terry (back) and Ashley Cole (hamstring) have been ruled out of The Three Lions' World Cup qualifier versus Belarus. Chelsea's Alex was previously ruled out of Brazil's World Cup Qualifiers and his short-term status is also a concern.
Whether you are a fantasy gumshoe manager or veteran premier league pundit, never fear.
Here at Never Captain Nicky Butt, we'll keep you abreast of Chelsea's injury crisis and provide our top weekly picks, musings, and "studs" and "duds," at the end of the week in our always popular Fantasy Premier League Gameweek Preview.
Until then, enjoy World Cup Qualifying.

Love the Prem Table on the side. I'd also like to see Blackburn move up it with a win @ Bolton this weekend.
Blackburn's going down...especially after they sell Roque in January...
So, stay away from Chelsea players then? Unfortunately, they'll still find a way to win games 1-0 on a deflected shot and/or referees in their pocket (rubles?)
I'd look at Chelsea's Defensive Injuries to see if Ivanovic may be worth a value pick-up. If Carvalho and/or Terry are out longer than 2 gameweeks, than it makes sense. Alex's injury status is also in question & Ivanovic played brilliantly in Chelsea's domination over Villa..
